Learn the Basics of Beadwork

Discover the art of traditional Indigenous beadwork with our Beaded Stud Earring Class — a fun and creative way to learn the fundamentals of back stitch beading while crafting your very own beaded stud earrings!

This 3-hour beginner class will teach you the foundational techniques used in traditional flat stitch beadwork, focusing on precision, pattern layout, and finishing touches.

All supplies are included — so you can simply show up ready to create.

In this class, you will learn:

• How to complete two full rows of beading using back stitch technique

• How to apply rhinestone banding for added depth and shine

• How to add cabochons and posts and learn the basics of edge beading.

By the end of this session, you’ll have completed a pair of beaded earrings, gained confidence with beading tools and materials, and developed the skills needed to continue your next projects independently.

Included in this class:

Beads, Beading Needle, Thread, Pellon, Rhinestone Banding, Vinyl Backing, Cabochons, Findings, and Glue.
Participants will also have the option to purchase additional beads in their choice of colors.
